Poem about social creatures.

I always hear.
We’re all social creatures.
We need other people.
To enrich our life.
Something you just can’t.
Get on your own.
True.
But i’ll tell you what’s a lie.
The word ‘need’ is the lie.
As social creatures.
We misconcieve the truth.
In the interests of.
Achieving goals.
We often need others.
But don’t get it twisted.
Most problems, fights and fallouts.
Occur as a result.
Of social creatures interacting.

Poem about settling down.

Seems in the modern world.
Settling down.
Is the right thing to do.
But is it.
I also read.
That when you stop growing.
You start dying.
So in a way.
Settling down.
Is a bit like.
Embracing death.
Unless of course.
You find other ways to grow.
In a settled down manner.
Then you need not die.

Poem about steadiness.

Strong and steady.
No place for shakes here.
No wavering.
No ups and downs.
Just steady hand.
Holding up.
The torch of humankind.
You see me rush.
I see you dawdle.
The steady mind.
Sees both and smiles.
With steady delight.
Can anything be viewed.
On any level.
Of power.

Poem about the veil.

I wish to see.
Beyond the veil.
To gaze upon.
The divine godess herself.
I know she’s there.
I know she cares.
This veil.
Hiding us from all.
Seems to be intentional.
A way of the godess.
Protecting herself.
From the aggression.
Born of men.
I don’t blame her.
But i wish she’d show me.
Her true nature.
I wish to see beyond the veil.

Poem about misconceptions.

When you create a false ideal.
Misconception strikes again.
You should treat me.
Like a princess.
‘Misconception’.
You should automatically.
Respect your elders.
By virtue of being elders.
‘Misconception’.
We should pay our taxes.
‘Misconception.’
Human beings are brutal.
It’s the way we’re wired.
‘Misconception.’
So now we’ve clarified.
What a misconception is.
A false ideal.
We wish was true.

Poem about hellfire.

If you are bad.
You will eternally burn.
In hellfire.
”ok, let’s turn this around.”
First od all.
If hell even exists.
Then you freeze.
Instead of burn.
For hell is a cold place.
The concept of the fires of hell.
Actually represents.
The fire of anhilation.
When spirit is dissolved.
Back to oneness.
Bloody hellfire.
Why didn’t my priest.
Tell me that.

Poem about ageing.

Age follow definite lines.
Everything and everyone.
I either born or created.
Ages, retires.
Rusts or dies.
Nothing is ageless.
No single chrystalised form.
Lives forever.
Only potential is eternal.
Just think.
Aging form.
In ageless time.
I love that simple contradiction.

Poem about menu of life.

What shall i choose.
From the menu of life.
Money?
Success?
A family?
A happy home?
Glory?
Oh, but there are
Some rotten options here.
And they’re just for starters.
Better pick the good ones.
Such a shame.
That if unsatisfied.
With the choice on offer.
We can’t rewrite the menu
Oh well.
I’ll better order.

Poem about clairvoyants.

Sitting in the darkened room.
Candelight flicker.
The channeler.
Switching frequency.
To catch a message.
From the other side.
Speaking in a ritual voice.
Speak to the dead?
I’m sure it’s possible.
But don’t automatically.
Trust these clairvoyants.
I doubt they’re all honest.
