Chemistry

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. Poem about chemistry.

This is my domain.
I don’t mean to sound arrogant.
I can manipulate chemicals.
In other people.
By making them feel.
The chemistry of us awakens.
Chemicals do jobs.
We have our own.
All the tools we need.
We have those chemicals.
Derived externally.
All the poison we want.
Chemistry is at the heart.
Of all feelings, thoughts and actions.
The instigator of it all.
