Political correctness

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. Poem about political correctness.

In a political world.
I feel cheated.
Of my right to free speech.
I have some opinions.
About this political system.
And societies disgraces.
That would anger most.
But i can’t ignore.
That people want this political setup.
They want to be ruled.
Have others make choices.
On their behalf.
I’ll say it again.
Political correctness.
The way of the group.
Robs me of my freedom.
To speak my mind.
