Submission

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. Poem about submission.

Sometimes we should submit.
In a few rare circumstances.
We must submit.
In most circumstances.
Submission is a sin.
It is evil.
Is domination evil?
No!
Oh, how confusing.
In nature.
Might is right.
To dominate is to generate.
So domination cannot be evil.
To submit however.
Serves no purpose.
Other than to give the dominator.
More power than they deserve.
Submission is a sin.
Because to submit.
Is to cheat yourself.
Of your own ability.
To generate power within.
