Being

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. Poem about being.

The skill of living.
A fulfilled life.
Is simply being.
Just being.
Just existing fully.
In the here and now.
For some that means working.
For some it’s playing.
For a few it’s killing.
For some it’s pleasure.
Whatever floats your boat.
Just make sure.
You exist fully.
In that moment.
In that task.
The art of truly being.
