No higher

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. Poem called no higher.

I’ve reached the top.
No higher to go.
What now!
Do i stay here all alone.
Below just will not do.
I don’t have wings.
No flying for me.
So what?
Open your eyes my friends.
There are always.
Higher peaks to reach.
Sheerer cliffs to climb.
There will always be barriers.
And blockades.
To overcome.
