Memorials

This following poem is a poem written as part of a poetry project called Poem press. Poem press is a project focused on presenting short but meaningful poems in a visual, literary and musical format. We need to honour our heroes.
Memorials serve that purpose.
Very well.
Yet now as time goes on.
The age of information dawns.
Will memorials survive?
This digital paradigm.
This age of archives.
Memorials are physical statements.
And not the letters.
Assembled on a screen.
